Simprints Technology Ltd

Simprints is a non-profit technology company from the University of Cambridge.  We provide biometric solutions for frontline workers. We have recently been featured in Bloomberg, Harvard Business Review, Reuters, One World Identity, Devex, and CNBC Africa for our technology's potential in effective pandemic response. We have country offices in Bangladesh and Ethiopia. In 2019 we won the World Bank ID4D's Mission Billion Award, and in 2020 we won an MIT Solve award, along with the Elevate Prize. And very recently in this year we have been awarded Transformational Business Awards by Financial Times and International Finance Corporation (IFC), under the Transformational Solutions in Health, Wellness and Disease Prevention category for Simprints biometric ID technology for impact verification.

The solution we provide is uniquely verifying or identifying individuals, as many projects and programs suffer due to a lack of quality data resulting in inefficiency and ineffectiveness of impact. Our mission is to transform the way the world fights poverty. We build technology to radically increase transparency and effectiveness in global development, making sure that every vaccine, every dollar, every public good reach the people who need them most. We are a long-standing partner of GAVI, and last year we signed a tripartite agreement with GAVI and the Japanese tech corporation NEC to develop a child biometric solution for immunization coverage.
