The University of Malaya eHealth Initiative aims to use information and communications technology to improve healthcare for patients and the community. The eHealth team, comprising researchers, healthcare providers, computer scientists and industry representatives, work together to provide effective, sustainable and innovative solutions to address real-world healthcare challenges.
We seek collaborations with academic institutions, government agencies, NGOs, consumer groups and industries who are interested in eHealth to conduct research, enhance teaching and learning, and innovate healthcare delivery.
During the recent COVID-19 pandemic, the UMeHI team has created the COVID-19 Symptom Monitoring System (CoSMoS), an automated platform that helps healthcare professionals to monitor patients with suspected COVID-19 infection at home to ensure accessible and timely healthcare.
